Ultrasound

Therapeutic ultrasound uses a continuous transmission of sound waves that cause microscopic vibrations in the deep tissue molecules, increasing heat and friction. The warming effect encourages healing in the soft tissues by increasing the metabolism at the level of the tissue cells.
