Workplace Injury Claims (WSIB)
At Chiropractic Plus we can provide examination, diagnosis and treatment for Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) claims. The WSIB is an agency of the Ontario provincial government dedicated to the prevention of all workplace injuries, illnesses and fatalities.
A work injury is an injury that occurs at the job site during work hours, in the workplace, during the performance of normal work-related activities. Any injury that occurs at your place of work must be immediately reported to your employer.
Workplace injuries include a wide range of injuries that can result from:
Repetitive overuse (e.g. working on an assembly line)
Heavy overload (e.g. lifting a heavy piece of equipment)
A sudden slip, twist or fall
Direct Impact (e.g. being hit by heavy equipment)
